Last weekend Saturday 14th June, our London PR girl took a few hours out of her schedule and a break from the World Cup to attend a weekend arts event at the Cockpit Arts centre in Deptford, South East London. She was there primarily to support Julie Kouamo; a very talented French Cameroonian London based textile/home furnishing designer who took time out of her Holborn based studio to partner in this event.
It was her very first time at this centre and what an amazing arts discovery she had indeed! From textile brands to fashion, from yarn making and scarf creating to porcelain and copper moulding and creation to home furnishings…it was sure an artistic arts & craft haven exploding with very creative talents.
What is the Cockpit Arts?
